Designing For Safety In Labor & Delivery

Inspired by my own hospital birth experience and the research I conducted with an interdisciplinary team at The Safety Learning Lab For Neonatal & Maternal Care at Stanford Medicine.

Students observe a birth simulation in a simulated delivery room, where a gowned clinical team surrounds a draped mannequin patient beneath surgical lights and IV bags.
